Grosvenor House is situated in the heart of Blackpool, 5 minutes walk from the Bus Station, 5 minutes walk from Train Station, 8 minutes walk from the beach and  a 5 minutes walk from Shops and all amenities.

You can come for a Retreat or just a Holiday Break  fees are same. 

The Chapel of the Holy Spirit

Is located at the centre of the building between the guests rooms. Mass is said daily at the time arranged between guests and Priest available. On Sundays Mass is at 12.00 & Confession a quarter before Mass.

Retreats Programs

Retreats are conducted  generally week-end starting Friday Evening by Rosary and Evening Meal. Programs for the Days includes, Mass & Meditation. Spiritual Talks ,feedback debates and quiet reflection, Angelus before lunch, Free Afternoon, and Rosary before the Evening Meal .We do offer our Guests a variety of options at all meal times and we do cater for vegetarians.

Mass can be celebrated either in English, French or Latin if required. 

Accommodation 

Rooms are available  with Colour Free View TV/Video combined, Tea & Coffee Facilities, Mini Fridge, Wash Basin, own Shower Room, Desk with computer broadband internet connected, central heating and fans. The Dining room has also a phone for the use of guests A small library is located in the Chapel and guests are asked to replace the books. We believe our library is comprehensive with a wide variety of books to suit most tastes.

Appeal

We currently have 3 appeals at the moment. One is for money to refurbish part of the Chapel of The Holy Spirit which has been damaged by a fire and will need re-papering. The second is for the roof which is leaking in from the outside via the guttering. Our final appeal is for the cats sanctuary who would welcome stamps (unused), coupons and vouchers to help with the food bills. We currently house 10 unwanted boys and girls and give them a loving home but the vets bills are high and we ask for your help and if you cannot spare anything we would appreciate your prayers Ecumenical Catholic Mission is an Excepted Charity and a full receipt is send for any donation large or small.
